Peterborough Cycling Club Competitions & Trophies
This page provides a list of the current club competitions and the trophies that are awarded for them. It also summarises the competition criteria, or race.
The club has a long history, going back to 1874. Some of these trophies have a long history, represent people who have played a significant part in the history of the club or commeorate those who dies in war or at other times. We have records of some of these trophies and their winners, being awarded back to 1922. More recent competition and championship trophy winners are here.
There are details of the qualifications for each Season Long Competition on that year’s competition page. There is also a list of the detailed points rules and calculations for the season long championship competitions.
The list is organised by:
- Class of competition: Club champions, Indivdual events or Season Long competitions. (Some older competitions & trophies are listed under “No longer awarded”)
- The competition name and its associated trophy
- The critera for winning
- Special notes and how the trophy may have changed competition from before 2002.
