Busy day of road racing today, at the NCRA race at Southwick promoted by Greenwhweel Cycles, Paul Pardoe riding his second ever road race and his first road race on the open road took an amazing 6th place, which may be upgraded to 5th after another rider has been disqualified. Jason Burrill finished in 15th place, soon to be 14th maybe. Both of them were in the lead bunch of about 20 riders lleft chasing the 2 man break. Alan Brophy was in that group until 12 miles to go of the 66 mile race and then dropped backwards and pulled out with a lap to go and Mark Bleakley rode the first half of the race doing some team work and then pulled out.
Marina Doroshenko rode a ladies race up at Darley Moor and finished in 8th place taking her first points in her first women only race.
Unfortunately at St Ives Nick Berwick and Mark Hillfailed to finish.
