This year our Clubmate and Life Member of the Club died after being a member

for 74 years.

She joined the Club on 4^th October 1937, three years after her boyfriend Toby

and they subsequently married to form a relationship which was almost based on

Miri was, for many years, the Club Treasurer as well as always being available to

help in Club events and activities and giving substantial assistance to her husband

in his duties as Club Secretary and his racing activities.

During this long period she even had time to give birth to son Richard,

another Club member.
