Peterborough Cycling Club's road races take place on Sunday 10th September at Great Gidding. There are two races, the first a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Category race. This race has some very good local riders, John French and Brett Harwood from Peterborough C.C., Michael Cowland and David McNamara from Fenland Clarion and Bourne rider Anthony Spencer who rides for Stilton RT. Race two is for 3rd and 4th category riders. The promoting club has Manuel Santa Cruz and John Powell riding. Other local riders are Michelle Buck, Steve Kaye, Lynden Leadbeater, Malcolm Smith and Stuart Lindsay from Fenland Clarion. Terry Wright Cycles of Deeping St. James have kindly donated prizes to go with an already good prize fund.
