The Smith Cup & Handicap '15' started the summer club races off on Thursday night and the event was made really hard with a really stong south westerly wind making it hard work on the outward leg.

Again it was Nick Sayer leading the field with 36'30" to win the Scratch event, but new member Simon Hodson won the Handicap event by beating Nick Sayer by just 3 seconds. Dave Yarham won the vets event to make it 2 wins in a row for the vets championship.
