The 2009 Season got off to a good start for Nick Sayer on Sunday as he walked away with the Hardriders event held at Folksworth. He was over 6 minutes clear of Dave Yarham in 2nd place, however Dave won the vets competition by 2 minutes from Chris Harwood who in turn won the Handicap event. 

The clubs new 2nd claim member Steve Lampier had an amazing ride to cover the course in 49'58" to demolish the course  record by 4'11".

Next week racing resumes at Helpston with the penultimate round of the Winter League.
