The Peterborough Cycling Club celebrated its prize winners for 2007, at its annual prize presentation on Sunday. The event was held at “The Stage” in Market Deeping and was a great success, with the bulk of the awards being carried off by club time trial champion Nick Smith and rider of the year Malcolm Church. Olympic hopeful, Stamford High School teacher and Peterborough resident, Caroline Thomas, was guest of honour and presented the awards. Other winners included, John French, Dave Yarham, Jeremy Harrison, Andrew Alexander, Simon Turner, Tim Cockerell, Mike Taylor and Paul Stevenson. The new season starts on 24th February with the hard riders time trial at Folksworth.
