Thursday 31^st May The Beardsall ‘23’ took place over 4 laps of the Road Race circuit. A calm sunny evening with drying roads from the earlier thunder storm created perfect conditions. After the first 2 laps it was clear that it was a 3 horse race for the Beardsall Cup. Dave Yarham, Nick Smith & Andrew Alexander were the 3 contenders for the win on this handicap event. It was Dave with the advantage over Nick then Andrew, and that’s how it stayed until the finish. With Dave beating Nick by 26 seconds and Andrew by 1’26”. So it’s Dave that takes the Beardsall Cup for 2007.

The scratch event placings were identical to the handicap, with Dave beating Nick by 56 secs and Nick 2’30” seconds in front of Andrew.

This win puts Dave & Nick tying for the lead in the Championship on 67 points each.        Result
