jon	Rider categories - 2010/04/26 07:21 I did the Rutland Sportive with Matt on Saturday and when I signed up I noticed a lot of riders had specified a category, such as 'M40' or just 'M'. I'm struggling to find an explination of what the categories relate to so could anyone shed any light please?

mattclarkson	Re:Rider categories - 2010/04/26 08:14 Hi Jon, >=40 is considered 'veteran' in cycling. So, M=Male then if there is a number after the M, it will refer to age, so you can compare your finish time with other riders of similar age. Anyone below 40 is considered all in one category. Matt
