jersey-design explained - 2010/08/06 12:34 The idea behind the design is that it was felt the club jersey needed an update & some people were not keen on the amount of yellow. I have based idea on local red kites, hereward the wake battling the Normans and the club badge. My personal view is we need yellow for viz, so I have put yellow on shoulder and bottom of back. From front and back when riding, yellow will be in view. The lighter option was actually my first thought but then did the black version, which has additional flashes of yellow and yellow sides. I have now added yellow flashes to lighter. The logo is smaller but add in shorts and hopefully the name is clear. I have already had a request for purple and silver ladies version. Cost will be the problem but there is the possibility of one top registered for road racing and another option or 2 for training. The design is same only colour change so should not count as full seperate design? I suggest either the light version or black version as THE top and other & the purple as options. I will post other pics. Keep comments coming.

Re:jersey-design explained - 2010/08/13 19:48 Excellent design Alex
I like the light version i like black jerseys but always try to steer away for vizabilty issues. Blue/yellow & white should be used as these are the traditional colours.
The light one should be the main design as the purple one would date quicker although could understand having it as a 2nd option.
I see there is concern on the name being readable but it could be included across the top of the shoulders and down the side.

Re:jersey-design explained - 2010/08/21 15:18 The new kit will cost a lot of money and we stll have a considerable amount of current stock. How is the club going to afford itand what do we do with present clothing, who will want it?
"Custom Cycle Clothing" might be the answer. This company lets you order on the internet direct and the club does not have to have unwanted stock Club members pay direct to that company. There website is www.customcycleclothing.com
