French Extends Lead Peterborough Cycling Club’s John French has extended his lead in the club time trial championship, with a great win in the club’s 15 mile event. John took the opening event, the Hardriders, back in February and made it two out of two with his latest success. |

Thursdays Club '10' saw 9 riders out of the 13 go under their handicap, on what was the fastest night so far this year. John French won the Scratch event with a 23:59 while Nick Sayer won the Handicap event with a 17:18 handicap time. Nick now leads both leagues by 1 point knocking Nick Smith off the top of the Scratch League & Andrew Rodgers off the top of the Handicap league. Juvenile rider Michael Ledlie had a very good ride to record a time of 34:50. Result & Standings

This years Hereward League starts on Thursday 15th May at Southey Woods. Anyone wishing to enter the first event should let Dave Yarham know at the club '10' this week or by email or phone before Friady 9th May.
