John French won the Scratch '20' event on Thurday 12th June, clocking 47:59 with Nick Smith 2nd with 49:42 and Nick Sayer 3rd with 51:05.
 At the 7.4 mile time check after the first loop around
Helpston, Bainton, Ufford John was 50 seconds up on Nick but at the finish 12.6 miles later he had only put another 53 secs into Nick who finished with 49:42. With this win John closes the gap by 4 points on Nick in the Championship. Next week it's the Scratch '10' at Stilton and John will be looking for another win. Result & Championship Table |

Brian Charmley and Nick Smith were the only 2 Peterborough riders to get inside the top 10 at the second round of the Hereward League at Essendine on the 4th June. Brian won the event and Nick Smith was was 9th . For full result see below: Result & League Standings Scratch Result

Torrential rain greeted 7 riders on Thursday for the 4 lap, 23 mile, Beardsall Cup.  The roads were awash and rain fell for the whole event, but it didn’t stop raining Club Time Trial Champion Nick Smith from winning the event and putting himself back in charge of the championship table. Nick Smith won the event with a 1:00:37 that would have been sub 1 hour but for him having to stop to sort out his bottle cage. AndyBaird was second with 1:01:42 and Chris Harwood was 3rd with 1:03:37. Full Result & Championship Table |
