The 'Cake Man' does it again |

A poor turnout on New Years day saw just 2 riders competing. Andy Baird (the cake man) took a clean sweep again. He beat (Mr Gourmet) Steve Milne for both Scratch & Handicap wins. Andy was also the only vet to ride so he took the win in the vets league too. Andy now has a big advantage in all the leagues and will take some stopping. Result & Standings |

Andy Baird (Cake Man) took the first win of the Winter League on Saturday beating Joe Brierley by 17 secs. There were 3 new riders that have not ridden the club 10 course before so they have no handicap at this point. Nick Hitchens was the scratch winner but Andy was only 8 secs behind him. Andy also won the Vets event beating his Vets Standard by 44 secs. Results & Standings |

It was a very poor turnout for the annual hill climbs today. Only 2 members and one new member faced the hill up to Colleyweston for the Roadmans Hill Climb Trophy. 1st Nick Sayer 3' 45.45" 2nd Nick Hitchens 4' 07.26" 3rd Fred Etchells 8' 14.09" It was decided not to bother with the 2nd hill as there was such a poor turnout. |
