Torrential rain and thunder stopped just before the start of the final round of the Hereward League on Wednesday at Pode Hole. With only Brian Charmley & Chris Harwood representing Peterborough it did not look good for Peterborough to be represented in the top 10. However Brian finished 2nd and Chris finished 4th to make sure Peterborough were represented in the top 10. In the final overall standings Chris Harwood was 2nd & Brian Charmley was 7th. Nick Sayer won the Rimes Cup 21 mile event on Thursday by over 3mins from 2nd Place man Nick Hitchens. This win puts Nick at the top of the Championship table with just the hill climb to go in September. Result & Champ Table

Sarah Maidment took her first win in the Handicap event on Thursday by just 9 seconds from young Peter Moulding. In the Scratch event it was Nick Sayer taking the win from Nick Hitchens & Nick Smith who were seperated by just 3 seconds. Nick Sayer also took the Vets win with Andrew Alexander in second place.
