Bourne Dominate 3rd Round

Bourne Wheelers dominated the 3rd round of the Hereward League on Wednesday night.

They had 1st & 2nd places and a total of 5 men in the top 10 places.

Best PCC riders were Chris (Grandad) Harwood 3rd and Victoria Valentine in 6th place.

Recent Action

   Thursday 16th June

   2nd claim PCC member Steve Lampier (Sigma Sport Specialized) clinched

   the "Boardman Sprints" competion at Canary Wharf in the last round of the

  "Halfords Tour Series" scoring a total of 32 points  taking the lead from 

   previous leader Kristian House (Rapha Condor Sharp) who finished

   2nd with 27points.

   Saturday 18th June

   Dafydd Houston recorded a new PB in the Shaftesbury.c.c '25' middle markers event on the

   E2/25 with his 58':19"

 

  Also on Saturday several PCC members were riding the N&DCA event on the N1/10 organised

  by PCC Member Andy (Cakeman) Baird.

  The event was won by Jason Gurney with 32'55"

  Sunday 19th June

  Nick Smith took part in the Grueling "High Moors Sportive" with over 3,000m of climbing.

  Nick completed the 107mile event in 07:42:32 and was the fastest finisher for the distance.

 

 

 
Nick the Barber's 2nd win

Nick (the Barber) Hitchens takes his 2nd win in2 weeks in the Scratch '10' on the N1/10 at Stilton on

Thursday night, but only by 6 seconds from Dafydd (Welsh Wizard) Houston.

Tammy Gwynn Took the handicap win in her first appearance for a very long time.

Nick also took the Vets event to move a bit closer to vets table leader Dave (The Plumber) Yarham.
