Good Turn Out for 5th '10' |

There was a good turn out for the 5th Winter '10' on a mild but very windy day. Mike Taylor returned to take the Scratch win while Andy Baird took the handicap win for the second time. Matt Clarkson still holds on to his lead on both Leagues by a good margin. Youngster M.Ledley (Juvenile) had a very good ride on his BMX bike with a single gear to finish in 47'40". Well done to him. New member Andy Baird took maximum points from both events in the 4th round of the Winter Series on New Years Day. He won the Scratch event by over 1 minute and just took the Handicap win by only 9 seconds from Richard Gammam. Winter 10 Result & Standings

With a very strong biting south westerly wind blowing on Saturday afternoon 5 riders faced the time keeper for the 3rd round of the Winter 10 Series. Matt Clarkson battled the wind best and took the Scratch & the Handicap win to take away maximum points from both events and leads both the scratch and the handicap leagues now.
