Last Sunday 7th February Peterborough Cycling members gathered at the Stage in Market Deeping to present the 2009 competion winners with their Trophies. There were 22 Trophies to present this year and Nick Sayer walked away with 12 of them. The rest of the trophies were picked up by Greg Siggs, Nick Hitchens, Simon Hodson, Nick Smith, Dave Yarham, Chris Harwood, Richard Gammon, Tim Cockerell & John French. Marc Abbott is making a good start to 2010 with his 3rd win in a row in the handicap league since christmas. Nick Sayer returned this week to win the Scratch Event & the Vets event. Nick Smith leads both Handicap & Scratch league now but has rode 5 events so he has to start droping scores now unless they are better than thoses he has already. Greg Siggs & Andy Beard are joint leaders in the Vets League with Nick Hitchens just 3 points behind them. Results & Standings |
