On Saturday 30th March our Club organised a round of the NCRA Handicap RR at Southwick. The weather was not pleasant - cold, wet and windy - but a good race was run without incident. Thanks to all helpers, especially the marshals who stoically endured the unpleasant weather. We can't run such events without this support.
Results: 1st Matt Barrett, 2nd Ben Price, 3rd Carl Dyson,  4th Brett Harwood,   9th John French.

Final round of the Winter ‘10’ series was run off on Sat 22^nd March.

Well not so much run off, as sitting in the car and deciding who would

be 1st and who would be 2^nd.

The only two riders to brave the conditions were Andy Baird & Chris Harwood.

As the weather was blowing arctic snow shows on a very bitterly cold & strong

north easterly wind they decided to let the time keeper get of home to the

warm and Andy was given the win on both Scratch & Handicap with

Chris 2^nd on both. Probably the result that would have happened if they had

raced. This gave Chris the win in both leagues, more by just

turning up more than any one else really. A pity because there were

three people in contention in both the leagues.
