Thursdays Club '10' saw 9 riders out of the 13 go under their handicap, on what was the fastest night so far this year. John French won the Scratch event with a 23:59 while Nick Sayer won the Handicap event with a 17:18 handicap time. Nick now leads both leagues by 1 point knocking Nick Smith off the top of the Scratch League & Andrew Rodgers off the top of the Handicap league. Juvenile rider Michael Ledlie had a very good ride to record a time of 34:50. Result & Standings

This years Hereward League starts on Thursday 15th May at Southey Woods. Anyone wishing to enter the first event should let Dave Yarham know at the club '10' this week or by email or phone before Friady 9th May. A nice warm morning with a light southerly breeze awaited 10 riders Sunday morning for the 2up Team Time Trial at the Stilton '15' course. Andrew Alexander & Nick Smith were fastest team on the day with a winning time of 38:59. Chris Harwood & Nick Sayer might have given them a run for their money but Nick punctured with 2 minutes to go and left Chris to ride alone. Composite team of Mike Taylor (P'Boro) & Mike Quanborough (Fenland.C.) were fastest pair with 36:20. Full Result |
