Spalding .C.C. hosted the final round of the Hereward League on Wednesday 15th July at Pode Hole just outside Spalding. Peterborough .C.C. rode well in the final event and ended up in 4 of the top 5 places. It was Greg Siggs who won the League overall and it was only Mark Robinson from Spalding.C.C who split the Peterborough riders by finishing in 2nd place. Greg has been top of the table since the 2nd round at Bourne and did not ride the last event, but had done enough in the first 3 rounds to clinch the league. Simon Hodson claimed his first H'cap win on Thursday night by knocking just over 2 minutes from his P.B round the Helpston circuit. The H'Cap league is getting tight at the top now Richard Gamman still leads with Mike Ledlie (Senior) just 1 point & Nick Sayer 3 points behind. Nick Sayer has now taken over at the top of Scratch league with 5 wins out of 5 rides. Dave Yarham took his first win in the vets competition this week but Brian Charmley still heads the Vets League by 15 points. Results & Standings
