Matt Clarkson won the Handicap event slicing almost 2 minutes from his handicapand was almost 1 minute better than 2nd place man Bill Parker who also rode to almost 1 minute better than his handicap. As usual Nick Sayer won the scratch event by 1'41" from Nick Smith. Six riders beat their handicaps, one of them was Richard Gamman who now tops the handicap league by 10 points from Sean Murphy. Wednesday 24th June was round 3 of the Hereward League held at Helpston by Fenland Clarion. No team dominated the event but Peterborough riders Greg Siggs & Nick Smith both finished in the top 10. This now puts them 1st & 2nd in the overall standings with one event to go at Spalding on the 15th July. Greg tops the table 19 points clear of Nick but with 100 points for the winner there are still a few people in contension.

Nick Sayer continued his dominance with another win in the Scratch 10 held Thursday night on the N1/10 Stilton course. Nick's (23'09") was over 2 minutes ahead of his nearest rival Nick Smith (25'20"). The rest of the field then followed in with smaller time gaps. Tim Cockerell piloted the tandem round the course with our deaf & blind member, Graham Hicks to a creditable 35'10".
