Steve Milne took the first Handicap 10 on Thursday as the Summer League got underway with a 18'27" beating his handicap by 1min 33 secs. Nick Sayer opened his account by winning the Scratch League and the Vets League with a 23'47". It was a good turnout for the first event with 14 riders attending. DAFYDD HOUSTON Gets his Open Season off to a good start with a Top 10 finish at the Spalding CC 25 in 01:08:13. He then followed this up at the Lea Valley 25 with a new PB 59:28 smashing his previous best by over 5 minutes. DAVE YARHAM & ANDY BAIRD continue their good form in the Kings Lynn CC 25 2UP with an impressive Top 8 finish in a time of 01:05:31. |

Marc Abott held on to win the Handicap Winter League on Saturday by 6pts from Andy Baird. Nick Smith didn't race the final round but had enough points to hold off Andy Baird in the Scratch League to win it. Andy Baird did not come away empty handed though, because he was the winner of the Vets Winter League.
