Tim's lead narrows

Another wet cold night on the shorter course, but everyone went quicker than last week. Andrew Alexander took the Handicap event convincingly and Mike Taylor returned for a convincing win on Scratch. Tim still leads the handicap league but by a reduced margin, and Mike is back in charge of the scratch league.

Next week is the start of the “Hereward League” the Peterborough.c.c event at Southey Woods 7pm.

Let Dave Yarham know if you want to ride by Tuesday 15th latest

Tim takes a firm grip

Rain and a cold North Easterly wind meant every one went slower than last week. Dave Yarham won the Handicap event and new man Nick Smith won the Scratch event. Tim cockerell’s win and two second places now give him a commanding lead on the Handicap league, while the absence of Mike Taylor means Chris Harwood now has a narrow lead on the Scratch League.

There is no ‘10’ next week as it’s the Smith Cup ‘15’ on the Stilton course (on the old A1).

Mike Taylor dominates
On a shortend course for week 2 of the league, because of roadworks at Barnack Tim Cockerell had another storming ride, but Mike Taylor stopped him scoring maximum points again. Mike won both Handicap & Scratch rides  to give himself a firm grip at the top of the Scratch league. Dave Yarham & John Castleton both had good rides to earn them a cut of handicap for next week.      Club 10 No.2 - Results
