It all started last Tuesday 25th May with a trip to capital for Tour series number one in Canary Wharf.

Tom West-Robinson flew round last thursday to win by 40 secs and win the handicap event. Matt Clarkson & Nick Smith tied for 2nd place and Nick Hitchens was only 6 secs back in 3rd. It was a quick night with the top 8 riders beating thier handicap.

In the Scratch race it was Nick Sayer who took the win, but 2nd place was really tight with Nick Smith beating Nick Hitchens by just 1 second.

Nick Smith was the best placed rider in the Bourne round of the Hereward League last Weds night finishing in 5th place.

As you would expect Bourne Wheelers dominated thier event but Peterborough managed to get 4 riders in the top

ten. Brett Harwood was fastest man covering the hilly 11.5 mile course in 25'36" beating Alisair Slater of Bourne by 53 secs.

Next Round is the Fenland Clarion event at Helpston on Weds 23rd June.
